Additionally, being a bit smaller it is a little more portable and lighter. In addition to this flash I own a Canon 580ex (not ex ii) and find this flash to be a good companion to that one. Although not as powerful in most situations it is sufficient all by itself and is plenty flexible. However, I do find that the by having everything operated with fewer buttons and less information on the screen, it is a bit harder to setup than the 580ex. The other reason I got it is to use as a slave to my 580ex and it works fine for that purpose allowing me to have two flashes without having to buy a set of wireless triggers. If you don't have a flash or want a flash to use with an existing 580 series flash, this is a nice addition.
These triggers allow you to do the fun off camera flash stuff, there only like $40, and they are built surprisingly well. This flash is great addition to your setup. I say get it if you have the money, and if you don't, wait till you do. It is a decent price and delivers enough power to use with your studio equipment. May I suggest cactus v4 wireless triggers from [.]. Don't settle for anything less. Great piece of equipment.
My only con is how fast it can burn through batteries, but then again most flashes do. This Speedlite is great. This has great functionality and really adds tons of natural light to the scene. I would recommend this Flash to anyone. In depth review at [.].
A little complicated for me. I just put everything on full auto. Recharges very fast. Nice product for the money.
Great quality. Powerful enough for my use. Improves drastically if used off-camera as with any flash. Highly recommended.
